Korea, Meet Wii

Looks like South Korea will finally see the Wii launched on April 26th. Although the U.S. got its hands on the console at the end of 2006, Koreans will be treated to a few discounts that we never saw. They'll also receive their own Virtual console with NES, SNES, and N64 titles.

First, he said that Wii Fit will sell 3-4 million copies in 2008. Now, gaming industry fortune teller Michael Pachter is at it again. His newest estimation is that Wii Fit will only fuel the American Wii shortages. Considering that Play.com ran out of pre-orders to the UK market within a short amount of time, he's probably on to something.

Pachter puts the weight on Nintendo and the buzz they've been building for Wii Fit. Amazon's swamped with pre-orders and Wii Fit just had its national coming out party on Good Morning, America. You'd swear the Beatles were coming!
