Arr! The Web is full of pirates of all stripes. Some offer movies, some music, some software. Of course, it's all illegal (hence the name), but one can't help but raise an eyebrow or two upon hearing that the pirates have made their way to the Wii. First, the Virtual Console games were cracked with the now-infamous Twilight Hack, now it's WiiWare.
These scurvy dogs have figured out how to run Japanese WiiWare games on U.S. Wiis. This means that even after WiiWare's U.S. launch, it would be possible to get a hold of games from other regions' WiiWare stores and play them here in the states. When Nintendo cracks down on this (and they will), it'll be another case of a couple of bad apples ruining it for everyone.
