One of the great things about the Wii is that its arrival has brought so many freaks out of the woodwork. These are the good type of freaks who think that it's a great idea to use the Virtual Console to breathe new life into the classic titles of yore. This week, the Virtual Console shows the Nintendo Entertainment System some much-deserved love.
Aksys Games will soon launch the near-historical Double Dragon. This is one of those titles that should be enshrined in the Smithsonian for its impact on gaming. But it doesn't stop there. Next week (one week before Double Dragon) will see the coming of River City Ransom, which is superior even to Double Dragon. It's a good week for the VC!
