WiiWare has launched. After all the confetti and streamers were cleaned up, after the online fanfare, the celebration hangover has set in. The number one question on the tongues of everyone after the launch of Nintendo's new online game service for the Nintendo Wii? Where are all the Nintendo games?
Well, Nintendo guru Shigeru Miyamoto has recently addressed this concern by saying, "I think America has always been better at creating unique products." Apparently Miyamoto's (and Nintendo's) hope is that American independent game houses will be able to create viable experiences for their home crowd. Let's hope that Miyamoto's right. Who are we kidding? He usually is.
