Capcom would be releasing Street Fighter IV shortly in a few months on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The edition has new characters, bright new 3D graphics and new gameplay systems with a celebration of the classic Street Fighter series. However, we forget that Street Fighter was the first game which was ported TurboGraphx-16 CD ROM in 1988 and renamed Street Fighting. Capcom later ported Street Fighter II to the Super NES which sold over six million copies
The change in the title to Street Fighting was designed to protect against recognition and only those would prefer buying it that had experienced playing Street Fighter. Even it is hard to believe that an exclusive Street Fighter home port did not grab the platform to a huge success still one wouldn’t mind to have an arcade-perfect port of this rare game. We are for sure convinced that Wii would be able to set things right for Street Fighter instead of forcing Capcom to make a scaled-down port.
