It's never looked like the massive multiplayer games could survive on a gaming console. There's something about a PC lends itself to all the hotkeys and such. Or, maybe that's just antiquated thinking. EA is looking toward the future of the Wii, and they believe it could be an MMO.

You never see Nintendo demos, especially for Wii games. That's what makes the news of a Dr. Mario & Germ Buster demo so cool. What makes it a lot less cool is that it's only available right now to gamers in Europe and Australia.

I may be one of the few 80s babies who just can't stand Ted Nugent. The bow-hunting, the chauvinism, the...do I need to keep listing this man's ridiculous flaws? Nah. The one great thing about Ted Nugent is that the man can (or could) play the daylights out of a guitar and it seems like Harmonix agrees.

Only in today's high-tech era can someone become famous for playing a video game. We've seen the rise of films such as King of Kong, documenting the trials and tribulations of being the world record holder at Donkey Kong. Corporate intellectual property is a dangerous and sometimes dirty game. It's always been like this since the beginning of business, so it's not surprising to hear about a suit filed against Microsoft for patent infringement. What is surprising is to see Nintendo's name listed alongside them as a defendant.

Wii Fit is already getting itself into trouble with its determination of who's overweight and who's not. Word is that a little girl in the UK was labeled by the game as overweight. Her height? 4'9". Her weight? 84 lbs. Of course, this has gotten a few people up in arms online, criticizing a game they haven't even played yet.

We are truly elated for Nintendo pioneer Shigeru Miyamoto. Thanks to the votes of the public, Miyamoto was catapulted to the number one spot on Time Magazine's "Time 100" poll, held online. Considering that Stephen Colbert came in third on Time's list, his actions should not come as a surprise to anyone familiar with the man and his show.
