It's become quite obvious to the numerous fans of the Virtual Console that the platform has been pushed to the side, hopefully for the time being, in favor of WiiWare. We understand that they've got to cultivate the new platform in the weeks following its U.S. launch, but there are some cool games that are coming out on the VC. They're just not being released on the U.S. version of the Virtual Console.
This week sees the release of the classic Bubble Bobble for 500 Wii Points, remembered fondly by those who still long for the days of the great NES games. Alex Kidd in Miracle World is 500 Wii Points as well, giving the fans of the innovative Sega Master System game a new chance to play it all over again. Rounding out the group this week is Martial Champion, an old PC Engine CD-ROM title that'll set you back a cool 800 Wii Points.
